Life in the lab, Scientific culture
On Thursday, March 14, in the afternoon, a group of 15 second-year high school students (2nde, Sciences et Laboratoire option) from Lycée Triboulet in Romans-sur-Isère, accompanied by two Physics-Chemistry teachers, visited the laboratory as part of a project supported by the UGA Vittorio Luzzati Fund.
The purpose of this visit was to help the students understand what research is, what a laboratory is, the types of people who work there, how a research problem is defined, how it is approached, and with what kind of equipment.
The visit took place in three stages: Presentation of the laboratory and its research activities, presentation of research projects (AI, energy distribution in buildings), tour of the Sacco and RF platforms.
