In summary​

The LCIS (Laboratory of Systems and Communication Engineering) is a public research laboratory and a host team of Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), associated with Grenoble INP, Graduate schools of Engineering and Management, UGA on the UGA Valence campus.

LCIS brings together over 60 researchers in computer science, electronics, and automation, focusing on embedded and communicating systems.

The themes addressed include the safety and security of embedded and distributed systems, the modeling, analysis, and supervision of open complex systems, and wireless communicating radiofrequency systems.

The laboratory works on various application domains: the Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems, connected natural or artificial environments, RFID, and more.

LCIS is supported and funded by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
