The LCIS Scientific Day 2024 took place the Thursday 23th of May at the Valence I.U.T.
It focused on the theme of socially equitable development and its application in our research.
We had the opportunity to benefit from presentations by Michel Cabrera of INSA Lyon on '3D Plastronics and Sustainable Development' (https://www.insa-lyon.fr/fr/laboratoires/ampere ), Michel Robert from LIRMM on 'The Challenges of Ethical Computing' (https://www.lirmm.fr/michel-robert/ ), and Florence Maraninchi from the VERIMAG laboratory with "Don't Put All Your Eggs in One Basket: The 'Fading ICT' Scenario" (https://www-verimag.imag.fr/~maraninx/ ).
This day was also an opportunity to present the arrival projects of our two new professors from universities, including:
* “Vers une analyse et un monitoring continus de la sécurité des systèmes embarqués et interconnectés” d’Oum-El-Kheir Aktouf (CTSYS)
* “Sécurité matérielle : Une approche système” de David Hély (CTSYS),
* Our new associate professor Valentin Egloff (CTSYS) also presented his integration project.
The second part of the afternoon was dedicated to a presentation session on the challenges and problems related to sustainable development for each laboratory team (ORSYS, CTSYS, CO4SYS).
