Automatic fabric making ? A short introduction to Jacquard machines

After the presentation of Louis Morge-Rollet on "IEEE 754 bit hacking : The fast inverse square root", the next session of "What the Cup ?!", will next Friday (04/07 at 16:00 P.M.) and will be untitled: "Automatic fabric making ? A short introduction to Jacquard machines". In this talk, Arthur Dessuert will speak about the Jacquard machine: "Have you ever wondered how fabrics are made? In this short talk, I'll present one method of production, weaving, and its evolution from manual labor to partial automation with one of the earliest example of programmable machine."
