The 'Thales La Ruche - LCIS Around Cyber' meeting, taking place on January 21st, 2025 at Building D of LCIS, Room D011, is a day of exchanges and collaboration between LCIS researchers and Thales La Ruche representatives, focusing on general cybersecurity issues.
The themes discussed will include topics such as artificial intelligence (AI), cognitive science, or applied engineering in industrial, academic, and military contexts.
This event aims to consolidate the relationships between academic and industrial teams from different structures involved, while exploring potential synergies in their respective research topics and identifying new collaboration opportunities.
The goal is to exchange information on ongoing research activities to better understand advancements and needs of each party, as well as discussing completed works.
This meeting will also offer a platform for exploring future ideas or projects that may lead to joint initiatives. Finally, it aims to strengthen academic and industrial collaborations through targeted presentations and discussions.
Program
The day will unfold in several stages, alternating presentations and discussions. The morning session will be dedicated to introductory exchanges and presentations.
Morning:
- 08:00 - 08:15: Welcome coffee
- 08:15 - 09:10: LCIS presentation
- 8:15-8:30: General introduction
- 8:30-9:00: Presentations of the three teams (CO4SYS, ORSYS, CTSYS; 10 minutes per team)
- 9:00-9:10: Discussion (10 minutes)
- 09:10 - 10:10: Presentation of Thales La Ruche
- 9:10-9:25: General introduction (Erwan Boulain)
- 9:25-9:40: Presentation of AI activities (Louis-Marie)
- 9:40-9:50: Discussion (10 minutes)
09:50 - 10:05: Break
- 10:05 - 10:30: Jérémy Buisson's intervention (presentation and discussion) on Ecole de l'Air (15 minutes + 10 minutes of questions)
- 10:30 - 12:00: Presentations of theses (~25/30 minutes max per thesis)
- 10:30-11:00: Lucas Tesson's thesis (15/20 minutes presentation + 10/5 minutes of questions)
- 11:00-11:30: Marie Morelle's thesis (15/20 minutes presentation + 10/5 minutes of questions)
- 11:30-12:00: Julien Soulé's thesis (15/20 minutes presentation + 10/5 minutes of questions)
Lunch
12:10 - ~14:00: Lunch at the restaurant "Le Clos Syrah"
Afternoon
- ~14:00 - 14:45: Deep dive into Julien Soulé's thesis with demo
presentation and demonstration of recent academic and industrial works
