Nicolas BARBOT, Simon GAY and Ionela PRODAN were present at the Science Village in Valence. David HELY, meanwhile, took part in an Apéro-Science.
The LCIS laboratory was present at the Science Village in Valence on Saturday, October 2, at the Latour Maubourg site. On this occasion, the laboratory showcased research activities from its three teams. Several prototypes/demonstrators were exhibited and explained, much to the delight of children as well as adults.
For its part, the CTSYS team presented a video that helps to understand security issues related to side-channel attacks and fault injection.
ORSYS, in turn, presented a demonstration allowing UHF RFID tags to be read in a real environment and their performance to be characterized in terms of reading distance.
Finally, for CO4SYS, participants were able to discover a motorcycle system that self-stabilizes, with its control algorithm implemented using Arduino IDE and other applications related to the safe navigation of multi-agent systems in cluttered environments.
These three examples illustrate how automation, computer science, and electrical engineering are gradually making their way into our daily lives.
On October 7, David HELY took part in an Apéro-Science conference on the theme “Do trust and digital science go well together?” To watch the replay, click here: video link.
