LCIS honors one of its founders upon his retirement

André is one of the founders of LCIS, alongside Denis Genon-Catalot and Smail Tedjini. He was even the first teaching-researcher in Valence to join LCIS.

He was the initiator and scientific manager of the first contract ever signed between INREST and LCIS, a contract that was submitted even before the official creation of LCIS in October 1996. This is a fact that will forever remain in the annals and engraved in the history of LCIS.

However, André is not leaving the laboratory permanently, as he will continue as a volunteer collaborator.
