Etienne receives the price

Monday, December 13, Étienne Perret was awarded the Grand Prix General Ferrié 2021. This prize rewards an engineer or scientist each year whose work has made a significant contribution to the progress of Information and Communication Systems, including their energy-related aspects.

The Grand Prix was awarded to Etienne PERRET (University of Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble INP, LCIS): "For his work on an identification system and sensors based on the electromagnetic signature of printed label tags." This is also the reason why he holds a subsidy from the European Research Council (ERC) for the SCATTERER ID project.

The evening was preceded by a special conference given by Marko Erman (THALES) on "The second quantum revolution: challenges and opportunities."
